Does that mean bed sheets? More crap to carry!
Not sure what time Tesco serve booze but I doubt it's that early like. I'll be gettin mine the night before.
It'll be interestin to see how wrecked people are by the first game. We (C team) have got that Riley's select team first so could do with being able to stand up (Tosh...)!

Dress Code: Trousers and Shoes.
If for some reason anybody ends up not being able to wear a team shirt, it's collared shirts/polo shirts, so for those of us playing in white it's prob a good idea to take a spare.

Here's the answer to your question Ben:
Q) What odds will you offer for the Elgin team that gets the furthest of the three?
A) You can have a price for any of them getting to a stage in the comp but not for who gets the furthest im afraid.

you will need to take some sheets / quiltts with you, think there is one or two in the caravan, it gets bloody freezing down there aswell so sleeping bag or fleece sheet would be recommended.
anyway see ye lot down there, looking forward to it

Adam, Where about in Lossie do you live? I will be in Lossie around 06.15am to pick Dave up and will get you after that! We will then drop my car back off at my house and then catch the bus from the top of the Newton road at just after 7.00am. Don't really know if I should be picking you up after the hammering you gave me at Keith! Revenge on the cards in a couple of weeks time Adam? AlanD

It was a real pleasure playing for the B team this weekend, we all had a great time, brilliant team spirit and everyone played their hearts out.
Congratulations to Neil and the rest of the lads in reaching the the quarter finals.

Agreed Adam. Really had a great time with the lads, thoroughly enjoyed the craic! Not just amongst ourselves but with the other teams too. Well done to all of the Elgin teams!
Unfortunately, we were on the end of a very disappointing decision made by the tournament organisers that affected our ability to qualify for the last 16. We were let down badly in my view and the credibility of the whole tournament was called into question by the actions of several league selects. It is my opinion that teams who do not turn up to play should be thrown out and banned from future competitions. Unlike some, my team mates and I do not have time, money or inclination to waste travelling around Scotland for a wind up.
Apparently, the offending teams have been punished with a substantial fine and the tournament rules amended to show that teams who make no attempt to fulfil their fixture(s) are immediately thrown out. This is the bare minimum that I will accept from the SEPF Committee on this matter and am only prepared to stay on as Region 4 Chairman if the offending teams are punished in full.
Principles, planning and professionalism are so important at events such as these. Lamentably, there were aspects of each missing over the weekend…

Agreed Woody, well done to Neil's team and unlucky on yourselves.
Adam, I agree wholeheartedly with your statement and am fully committed to helping make sure nothing like this happens again.
Over 200 people turned up to play pool and unfortunately some players didn't do so and ended up costing other teams a place in the KO stages. In my opinion that is serious unsporting behaviour.
I understand the committee on the day had a difficult decision to make but after being faced with a problem like this the best plan of action is to make absolutely certain it can never happen again. That's why the SEPF need people like you Adam. If you resign from your position it will have a detrimental effect on the federation, however, if you stay and help change the system it will benefit everyone in the long run. Things can't always be fixed over night but with the influence and input of people like yourself they can be fixed eventually.
On that note, has the SEPF got round to publishing a constitution? If they have, I'd be suprised if there wasn't something in that that could have been used to back up your team's case yesterday ie. sporting behaviour, promoting pool etc.
If the SEPF still don't have a published constitution available for all to see, then surely that should become an immediate priority...
