SEPF Region 5 (Scotland West and Islands)
It's with great pleasure that the SEPF can officially announce the formation of Region 5.
Headed up by the Oban & District Pool League (160 players), the new region covers the West Coast and Islands.
Following discussions over the past few months, several ODPL players competed in the BIS Salamis Scottish Open and are sending 9 guys up to Elgin for the Region 4 Tour event this weekend.
The Region 5 Tour will be starting this summer and we hope to fit in six tour events before the end of the season.
It is hoped that the new regional tour will attract other players from around the West Coast area who would like a chance to represent Scotland in the WEPF World Championships in 2012.
Further details will be published as they develop...
Cheers,
Brad Wight SEPF Secretary
NB: The Annan, Springfield & Eastriggs Pool Association (Region 3) also affiliated to the SEPF on Wednesday.

Good news about Region 5 but also the new affiliated leagues. Hopefully we'll be able to add a few more this year too...

The Annan, Springfield and Eastriggs Pool Association is actually one league now to be known as the Gretna and Springfield League formed by a union of three separate leagues.
Cheers Adam, it's certainly looking good. Other things in the pipeline, stand by for regions six and seven. There'll definitely be no more than that though!
