Unfortunately due to work commitments, John Kinnaird has decided to step down as Chairman/Treasurer with immediate effect. He will however, remain on the committee in a non-executive role.
With John's approval, I have asked Raymond Mckenzie (Tennant Arms A) to take over as Chairman/Treasurer until the AGM and Raymond has willingly accepted the reponsibility.
On behalf of the League I'd like to thank John for the work he has put in over the last few seasons. Without him and Geordie McPhee, we might not have had a league a few seasons back. Thanks John!
Brad.

Yep, John put in a huge amount of effort into getting the wheels in motion and getting the league back up an running, much of it from behind the scenes. Somebody had to take the responsibility of getting things going and John was that someone, so from all of us who enjoy our wednesday nights - Thanks John !!

As I'm relatively new to the pool league I'm not aware of the amount of effort John has put in over the years. However, having known John for over 30 years (he's actually older than me lol) I know that he would have given his all in trying to improve things and move things forward in the right direction. Hard act to follow...
