EDPL AGM
I am pleased to announce that the 2017 AGM and team registration will be held on Wednesday the 16th of August 7.30PM at the Seaforth (Venue subject to change as awaiting confirmation)
All teams must be represented on the night and forms will be around all the venues by the end of the weekend. If any team are planning on playing from pubs that have not taken part in previous seasons please comment below so that we can ensure they receive the forms.
Registration for the new season will take place prior to AGM for 7pm to 7.30pm and fee’s can be payed in person or transferred directly to EDPL bank account (preferred option) bank details will be available and are listed on registration form
The registration fee for all teams will remain at £45 as it has for the last 4 years.
AGM (16/08/17) will be in the following format
1. Election of committee members - The committee is currently made up of the following. Chairman, Treasurer, Secretary & 6 x player members. As per constitution all committee positions are up for re-election. Any member of the league (player or non-player) can nominate themselves to stand for committee but in first instance names must be submitted prior to secretary prior to AGM. If there are not enough nominations for committee then nominations will be taken at the AGM.
2. Review of minutes from previous AGM – This will deal with any outstanding issue’s left over,
3. New proposals – All players have the right to raise proposals to be discussed at the AGM. This does not have to be through their team captain. All Proposals must be sent through at least 48 hours before the AGM. This is to allow the Secretary to review proposals and give feedback to the proposer as to whether the proposal can be accepted for discussion \ vote
4. AOB – This will deal with anything that may come up over the course of the AGM but no votes will be held and no decisions will be binding.
