I see! Will you be hiring them out on occasion?! And if so, what are you charging?!

I daresay I could hire them out for a small mutually agreeable fee.
Just to be clear these are not the Pro cup version (stripey black and spotty white) currently used by the IPA and WEPF but they are the same tournament balls they used up until a couple of years ago.

This is maybe not the pipe dream it once was, however Rome was not built in a day.......which is probably exactly long it will take to load, transport, unload , assemble and level 6 pool tables at a venue . Then probably best part of another day to disassemble, load , transport, unload and store (would need 2-3 trips depending on transport). In short this would have to be a commercial venture for someone unless of course they could be permanently set up somewhere. As for the Precision cloth, I am led to believe it is very fast (and expensive). Not sure how durable it is though for use by amateurs like us ! lol

Yes you would probably be better to have a tour over 2 days with a late start on the Saturday to accomodate set up. Then a reasonably early Sunday start with an early finish to take them away. A costly business in terms of cash and bodies I would think.
And thats before we use the Precision cloth lol! Just looked at the price of it for the Snooker table. WOW!

Hi folks, Just a quick note to say we will be doing the draw for tour event 5 at the Tennant Arms, Lhanbryde tonight about 7.30 and it will be posted on here later on . If you cannot make the comp and your name is in the draw you MUST let me know by 6pm tonight !
Also up until now we have paid out £ 500 in prize money for each event .....unfortunately due to the lower entry levels for this event we will have to reduce this amount accordingly.
Normal dress code for tomorrow and I propose to start play at 12 pm prompt.
See you all tomorrow,
Raymond
