Asking this on behalf of someone else
Brad, I have been asked why all tour events are counting towards ranking points this season rather than 5 out of 6 as it was last year.
I thought it was to keep all the regions in line with each other alongside the Scottish Singles and Masters ?
If you could clarify that would be great,
cheers

Yes, all five regions are dead in line now, all using the same ranking system.
All 6 regional tours and the Masters and Singles (eight in total).
Only R1 and R4 were using the best 5 from 6 system so it could have went either way.

Hi Brad,
I have emailed mark gravener as discussed about the fact that there is mistake in the results from the last tour and consequently the rankings. Martin Hendry Jnr beat Barry Graham 4 - 2 and not 4 - 0. Just to keep things right!
Cheers,
Adam

I asked in the other thread about the Scottish singles and where it would be held but am interested to know where Scottish Masters will be held?
Surely about time that Region 4 got one of these?

The Scottish Singles will be at Elgin City Social Club, providing everything goes ok with the tour event (no reason why it shouldn't).
The Football Club have approached the SFA to make sure they are away from home that weekend but as it's an International weekend it shouldn't matter anyway. We have use of both upstairs halls for the weekend and hope to have in the region of ten tables with full live internet streaming on one.
The Masters will probably be in a new venue in Dumfries, have seen some photographs of the hall and it looks amazing - think of the Imperial at Blackpool and you won't be far off it! This hasn't been finalised yet though.
One other good thing to report, Styx are getting 7 new tables next week!

That's good to hear Brad that we will get a major comp up here. As you say, not sure what can go wrong at the City Club so here's to the Scottish Singles coming to Elgin!

It is important mate!
Are your results correct on the results section? Or is it just the ranking points?
The results are those recorded on the sheet on the day so if they are wrong there won't be anything I can do about it, however, if it's just an adding up error I'll ask the webmaster to correct it.

Barry's results are right but rankings are wrong. Why are rankings and results taking so long to be updated?
