MESSAGE FROM GEORDIE MCPHEE 1st AUGUST 2010
Gentlemen,
I said last year, that I would take responsibility as the Elgin and District Pool League Secretary, until someone else came along who is interested in Pool, The Pool League, the Pool Web Site and the role of Pool Secretary.
Brad Wight, fits all of the above, therefore as of Sunday 1st August 2010 I will cease to be the Secretary of the Pool League.
I will hand over this Title to Brad who has accepted this task until 18th August, when the AGM will be held.
I have stated that the AGM will be held on the 11th of August, but Brad is unable to attend on that date therefore the change of Date
I believe, I should make this change now , to give Brad a chance to get to grips with the position of League Secretary, as the new Season is not far away.
I wish Brad all the best as pool Secretary and hope you will support him.
Geordie Mcphee

MESSAGE FROM BRAD WIGHT 1st AUGUST 2010
Gentleman,
I am pleased to accept the position of league Secretary until the AGM on the 18th August. I will be putting myself forward as Secretary for the coming season and hope I can count on your support.
On behalf of all of us I'd like to thank Geordie for all his effort and hard work.
I play for the Bonnie Earl A team and although I'm not the best of players, I have a passion for the game and would like to see pool in the district develop. I'm looking forward to the 2010-11 season and also the new SEPF Region 4 Tour.
Following on from Geordie's plans to bring the Elgin & District Pool League into the IT age, I have created a web forum (link at top of page.) Players can register and use this facility to check information, ask questions, put forward suggestions etc. I hope it will be used in the same manner as the Aberdeen League forum and that it will prove to be an effective means of communicating important information regarding our league and also open tournaments etc.
My contact details are: 07845661961 or email elgin.pool@gmail.com
I'll see you all at the AGM,
Thank you,
Brad Wight.
