Latest rankings available here: www.sepf.com/region4/reg4ranks2011.htmlRemember that the top 2 players after 6 events qualify for the SEPF Scotland Squad for 2012. These places will be determined by players' best 5 results out of 6 events. Those ranked 1 - 8 will also qualify for a seeded spot at the SEPF Scottish Singles and those ranked 3 - 11 qualify to play in the SEPF Scotland Squad Trial. So, at the halfway point in the tour there is still a lot to play for!

Up to 32 entries for this now. As we have more tables in Inverness there will scope for a club event and speed pool. Should be a good day!

A big well done to region 4's most prolific winner Neil simpson on another tour event win yesterday. Hard lines to beaten finalist Andrew Cormie too, he played very well in patches yesterday, particularly in his semi final.
Results, report and rankings will appear on the SEPF site soon.

Aye well done again Neill, and well done to Andrew/Andy/Cormie/Andy C who proved he can make a final by playing men.... Ha ha only kidding! Cracking result beating Fyffee 5-1.
I was chuffed to get to the club event final and well done to Mikey Ross (Oban) for winning that one.

A big well done to Neil, gave me 'yet another lesson' in our semi final match. Great player and well deserved tour win (number 4 i believe, 4 from 8, 50% strike rate) nae bad like . Hard lines to Andrew pipped at the post once again, wont be long before you win something though pal. Inverness,,,,,same scoreline as last time, Neil 6 Andrew 4,,,,Horses for courses me thinks!!! Another highly enjoyable day.

Even better then mate. Fantastic achievement considering the quality of players he has to compete against in our area. I didnt feel well before my match with him but felt considerably worse after it. He makes you think hard thats for sure and always seems to make really hard shots to win frames when his backs to the wall. I have never beaten Neil but I always enjoy playing against him, you learn so much from it. I think we would all agree that he's an outstanding player and definately the one to beat.

I think you've summed it up in a nutshell there woody, neil certainly is a tough cookie and, like you say makes himslef very hard to play against. We'll keep plugging away at him though and get a win someday hopefully lol!
Thanks for the comments folks, was fooooking shattered when i finshed work at 6 am sunday! ;D
