Hats off to Neil Simpson for coming through some really tough matches to secure his third tour title overall and first of 2011. A real battler if ever there was one! He defeated Andrew Cormie 6 - 4 in the final.
Full results, report and rankings will appear on the SEPF site shortly.

Aye well done to Neil, also well done to Andrew, didnt see the final but he played sensational pool in his semi , hardly missed a ball and took out virtually every chance he had.

Final was good, Neill went 2-0 up, Cormie took a 4-2 lead then Neill won four on a trot to clinch it. Really good final.

A big well done to Neil on winning 'yet another' tour event and to Andrew who's now beginning to show what a quality player he is.
If it was a billiards competition on Saturday I would have won hands down lol.
Enjoyable day as usual.

I'd like to echo the above comments by congratulating neil, showed alot of character to come back from 4-2 and used all his experience and ability to see out the game. Thought i had him.......bugger! lol. Was a good final played in great spirit and hopefully i'll use the experience as a learning curve and improve in the future (hopefully on wednesday to be precise.....take note Messrs Macleod and Wood haha!!!!)
Thanks to the organisers and rileys for ensuring a really good day, thankless task at times im sure.
