No worries Stu.
We are all very lucky to be going to Malta and it will be a great experience for us all. I think it's great that Mike & John have given us this opportunity and we all need to make the most of it - which we will!!
No Patty's or Dazzy's amongst us but we will do our very best of that I'm sure.

Thanks mate, was by far the best I played all day, unfortunately couldn't last the pace (as usual). Had to be at my best to beat the great Raymondo lol. It was great playing against you and every bit as tough as I thought it would be, never expected to beat you though so that was a real bonus. I don't relish our next encounter when ever that may be :-)

I am going to make the assumption that everyone who played on the tour last year will want to book their place this year. This presents a problem in that I have to cap each event at 48 entries because of table constraints. I have put up the list of players from last year. The first 48 of these, or indeed any new players that contact me first, will have their place reserved for event 1 on 15/01/11. There will be a slight amendment to proceedings for next year in that final rankings will be determined from a players best 5 tour results out of 6. This will allow players the chance to miss one event and not worry about the effect on ranking points. Also, there will be acceptable behaviour criteria for next year as discussed previously. Any questions on this please ask. I will assume that noone has a problem with this. The top 2 players on the 2011 tour will qualify direct for the SEPF Scotland Squad and players ranked 3 - 11 will enter the Scotland Squad Trial. In addition players can, if they choose, look to enter other comps like the Scottish Masters, Scottish Open, European Club Championships, National 3 man team event and Region 4's very own Highland Classic. Please contact me asap to confirm your place on tour for 2011. Reserved spots are in bold. NEW PLAYERS ARE VERY WELCOME!!Cheers, Adam. Despite having advertised 2 automatic spots for finishing first and second on this tour as early as December 2010 on this very site (see above), I have now been informed that only the tour winner will gain automatic entry to the Scotland squad. Apparently, the decision was taken in July 2010 at an Executive meeting that tour winners only would qualify for the Scotland squad. However, I had several conversations with various Exec members after that time stating that the tour winners and runners up would qualify to bring them into line with Regions 1 and 2 who have historically had 2 spaces. Unfortunately, I cannot prove that these conversations took place. However, I am not in the habit of lying for no reason and would not advertise a tour with 2 automatic spots if there was only one. As usual, the communication of information is pathetic. Important information is hidden away in emails rather than being disseminated properly and important decisions taken then forgotten about. It is the responsibility of the Exec committee to MAKE SURE that everyone is reading off of the same page. The regular mess ups with the SEPF Calendar this year is further evidence of the fact that these people cannot seem to get it through their heads that communication is of PARAMOUNT IMPORTANCE. I mean, its not like the original post I made above has been on here for months... As a result of this, I have had to contact Adam Wood this morning to explain why he is now not automatically selected to represent his country. That was a horrible conversation to have as I am sure you can imagine. I think that this whole joke situation will leave a bitter taste in the mouth of the players in Region 4 and we will find it very difficult to trust anything that the SEPF Exec say in future.

Thanks Adam.
S.E.P.F certainly need to clean up their act, that's for sure. Seems to be one fuck up after the other. I for one will not be taking part in any future S.E.P.F run events and withdraw from my position as junior tour organiser.
However, I do wish yourself all the very best for next year.
Sour grapes ........ probably!!!

is there still not a complete constitution in place for the SEPF yet?,
surely squad selection methodology would be included in this, and stuck to unless amended at AGM / EGM as voted on by the members. Was something i broguht up a couple of years back as to the players struggle to know what they are playing in the Tours for ie how do they qualify.
The constitution hasnt been available online since 2009 - obviously with some of the issues the SEPF have went through i can understand a partial delay but shouldnt surely take this long to get in place.
Most of the basic rules etc could be lifted from most constitutions that are available (WEPF for example)

I have also brought this up with the SEPF Exec several times. In fact, now that I read this again, it seems only the Scottish Open and the Scottish Masters (if I haven't jinxed it!) are the only things on this post that were accurate.
