Cheers Jim,
There were four of us from Elgin who went through to Aberdeen for the Scottish Open last week. I was quite surprised that nobody else went along. Although it would appear that quite a lot of players weren't aware that it was even happening. Hopefully this forum will help get round the problem of communicating information like this and encourage people to enter more tournaments.
I'm still trying to get to grips with the league republic site, it's not the easiest to work your way around! I'll put a page of links from this forum rather than from the LR site.
All the best, Brad.

After a couple of queries on the subject, I have decided to impose a straightforward dress code for this event. Smart casual with NO football colours.
Also, it is looking like we will exceed the 32 players required to guarantee the prize money stipulated on the flyer. This means that the prize money will rise accordingly.
Remember, events are capped at 48 ENTRIES. So, if you know folk intending to play, get them to let me know asap.
Cheers,
Adam.

A big well done to Raymond Mackenzie for winning the the first region 4 tour event yesterday. I think everyone would agree that Raymond played the best pool all day and thoroughly deserved his win. Well done!
I would also like to thank everyone for coming out to support the tour and contributing to what was a great day all round.
I will post rankings on here later and will put a wee article together as well. These will appear on the SEPF Region 4 website shortly. The link to which is at the top of the page.
Cheers,
Adam.

I would like to say thanks to Adam for a very well organized day. I would also like to say I thought the level of good sportsmanship throughout the day was first class , particularly where some of us ( me !!) were struggling to remember the rules after the summer break.
Cheers
Raymond

Just out of interest, do those of us who played in the first event get priority entry to the second or is it a case of first come first served on a list again?

Priority to those who came to first event. I said to folk at event 1 to let me know if they weren't coming to 2nd event to let me know in advance...
