SEPF 3 Man Team Championship 2011
18th – 20th March

£8,000 Prize Fund
The Scottish Eightball Pool Federation are proud to introduce a new event to their calendar. The SEPF 3 Man Team Championships are to take place for the first time in March 2011 at Pettycur Bay Caravan Park in Burntisland.
There will be an £8,000 Prize fund on offer over the course of the weekend between the 3 Man Team Event and a Singles event running along side it.
The prize fund is as shown:

Team Semi Finals £500
Team Quarter Finals £250
Singles Winner £1,200
Singles Runner Up £600
Singles Semi Final £300
Single Quarter Final £150
Entries for the team event are limited to 48 teams.
Entries for the Singles event are limited to 96 players.
The full set of rules can be found below:
1 Entry fee of £240 for 4 players (three players to be named in each match plus 1 reserve
may be played in second or third session. Once a player is replaced they may take
no further part in the match, each match best of 9 frames).
2 Players may only enter the competition once. Any team playing an individual who has
previously played with another team will forfeit the right to further participation.
(No substitutions to those on the original signed entry form will be allowed).
3 Only one International player per team of four.
(International Player is any player who has played in a Team Match for Scotland in
the last 3 years at Mens or U21 Level).
4 Players may only play for a team within the boundaries of their Interleague area.
5 All competition matches must be played to World 8 Ball Pool Rules.
All disputes of whatever nature shall be referred to the Organiser SEPF in writing.
The organisers’ decision will be final and absolute.
6 The winning team must return the completed result sheet at the end of each match
7 The organisers SEPF will not be responsible for any team not turning up
for the fixture or non-receipt of result sheets or any correspondence lost or delayed in the post.
8 The competition will be on a Groups and then Knock Out Basis . In each match the three,
nominated players of one 3-man team shall play the three nominated players of the opposing
team, making 9 frames in total. Matches conclude at a result, i.e. when one team wins 5 frames.
9 Teams must have a minimum of two players at the start of the match and will forfeit the other player’s
frames if that player is not at the venue when his/her first frame has been called.
10 Any team not turning up for a match, or completing fixtures, will immediately be eliminated from the
tournament and will face disciplinary action.
11 Referees are to be appointed for all matches by mutual agreement between the two teams.
12 All players must be 18 yrs or over on 31st January 2011.
13 Cash posted at players own risk. The organisers SEPF will not be liable for loss or non delivery.
14 Entry is confirmed by the entry fee being paid in full only.
15 All matches will be played on 1 table. If matches over run the time allocated then further table(s) may
be used to complete the match.
16 Dress code for the event will be Black Shoes, Black Trousers & matching Polo Shirts. Any team failing to
meet the dress code will not be permitted to play.
17 Entries are limited to 48 teams. All regions will be represented with a minimum of 6 teams.All other
places will completed on a first come first served basis.
18 Each team can nominated 2 team players to play in a Singles event at the Championships. The Singles
event carries an entry fee of £40 per player.
19 The organisers SEPF reserve the right to amend the competition according to prevailing circumstances.
20 The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry.
21 All participants will be deemed to have read, and agreed to abide by, these rules and conditions.
