Should any team be unable to travel because of the snow and ice, please let me know as soon as possible and we can look at re-arranging the game.
I won't award any walkover wins if I am notified in reasonable time to tell the other team captain that you can't make it.
I'm aware for instance that Tennants A are travelling through to Burghead to play the Harbour, if you are in the slightest doubt about the road conditions then please don't take the risk. There'll be an opportunity to re-arrange at some point later in the season.
Cheers,
Brad

Its not only the roads that's the problem for travelling teams its getting parked !! I have asked the guys who normally drive to our games what they think and will get back to you asap.

The 22nd of December is the only free Wednesday before the end of the season unless both teams are knocked out of cups at some stage.
April will be taken up by singles and doubles and ideally I'd like everyone to play their final games on the same day (29th March.)
Therefore there's a possiblility any postponed fixtures may have to be played on another week night or even a weekend.

Afternoon Brad & Raymond, Andrew from the harbour here.
Conditions are quite bad down by us, not much cars have moved since sat so yes parking could be quite an issue. I could spear at my players and see what they thought about playing 22nd december? i realise thats quite close to xmas but i personally would have no qualms playing then, if that gets the thumbs down im sure we could arange another night with plenty notice? What you's thinking?

One of our team has got back to me saying he is happy to drive which is all well and good but having been out and about with the van yesterday and not being able to get it back up my street never heed back up my drive im not all that keen - I'm thinking some of your guys will have to travel from Elgin aswell. Not sure about 22nd as that could be the night some are finishing work etc but can ask what they think. Maybe if we both speak to lour teams and get an overall opinion about cancelling tomorrow night ? Its not just us ,the IO are down in Burghead aswell Cheers Raymond

Pretty much a unanimous decision to postpone Harbour v Tennants, agreed by both captains. It makes sense !

Have texted Andrew from the Harbour to see about playing our game on the 5th of January. Think we both have a free night as we were both dumped out of the div 1 cup and the Meldrum cup games do not start til the following week. Tennants are avaliable that night so just waiting to hear from the Harbour.
