Summary of Committee Meeting 29th Oct 2012, Bonnie Earl.
Those Present:Raymond Mackenzie - Chairman, Treasurer
Brad Wight - Secretary
Ian Maclennan - Committee Member
Debby Greig - Committee Member
Susan Collins - Player
Apologies:Tony Donovan - Press Officer
Andrew Cormie - Deputy Press Officer
Garey Steele - Committee Member
1) It was unanimously agreed that Finals Day will be held at the Station, Burghead this season. The Station first applied for it two and a half years ago.
The only other venue to express interest was the Bowl 2000 and they will be kept in mind for next season.
2) The Chairman submitted a request for funding towards the cost of Interleague polo shirts. The Committee decided to cover the entire cost (c.£280) as the players are representing the league and shirt costs were covered in full last season. It is estimated that the League will finish the season with a profit of between £100-£200 even after paying for Interleague shirts.
3) The Secretary confirmed that the Braemou have regretably withdrawn from the League due to a lack of players. They have been removed from the League table, wiping all their previous results and the Secretary will go back through the Player of the Season stats and remove all record of frames won/lost against the Braemou.
4) The Committee discussed this Friday's EGM at length and it was felt that people attending must be made aware of precisely what they are voting for.
The EGM will start at 6:30 PM in Flanagans upstairs bar, Friday 2nd Nov. ALL PLAYERS ARE ENTITLED TO VOTE. It is particularly important that Interleague players attend as they are the only players who may lose out next year.
